Iced Matcha Latte

Ingredients:

1-3g teaspoons of Claire + Charles Matcha
1-2 tablespoons of hot water (not boiling)
Ice cubes
1 cup of milk (plant-based - we recommend a vanilla version.. so delicious)
Sweetener of choice (honey/syrup etc)


Prepare the Matcha:

In a bowl, sift the matcha powder to avoid lumps. (Optional)

Add 1-2 tablespoons of hot water to the matcha powder.
Use a bamboo whisk or a electric whisk to blend the matcha and water until it forms a smooth, lump-free liquid
Sweeten (Optional):
If you like your matcha sweetened, add your preferred sweetener to the matcha bowl. This can be honey, agave syrup, simple syrup, or any sweetener of your choice. Start with a small amount and adjust to your taste.
Add Ice:
Fill a glass with ice cubes. The ice will help cool the matcha quickly and give it a refreshing chill.
Add Milk & Matcha:
Pour the milk into the glass. You can use dairy or any plant-based milk such as soy, almond, oat, or coconut.
Pour Matcha liquid:
Pour the prepared matcha over the milk & ice cubes in the glass.
Stir Well & Enjoy:
Use a straw or a long stirring tool to mix the matcha liquid, ice, and milk thoroughly. Ensure that the matcha is well-distributed.
